9 Betas later... is it still slow like poop?
Hardly. Try it. In real world experience, it flies!
4.09bpre x64 for me - look at my sig with the user-agent string. However, apparently, soon to be 4.09b10pre
...
Thanks, JMH! :)
Yeah it does seem to be faster than before. I don't know if I'm willing to switch from Chrome, however.
Really hooked on Chrome as well...will give it a try.

The only complaint I have now is that when I open most sites for the first time after firing up the browser, it'll freeze completely for roughly ten seconds. Most of the time it recovers and acts like nothing is wrong but sometimes it won't. It'll do it on seemingly normal sites like Facebook, Google, and Hulu, specifically. After that site freezes once, it won't freeze again for a day or so, roughly.
Odd.

I have been using it since b7 and like it, although i disable Hardware Acceleration (i found no increase in performance with it enabled but just a whole lot of CPU activity and extra load on my GPU)

Wait! Look here: Firefox Nightly Builds
It's not the beta, it's the nightly so it's updated every day

Not even the Beta, it's a pre-beta:
Still, it's what I use daily. I prefer the x64 version. Look at my sig ...

Go with x64, it will save you from a reinstall if you want to add more than 4GB in the future

Hi, virusjun2! :) Read the quote above that I presented right before your question.
Also, thanks, yowanvista, I agree with your advice. :)
