Changelog:

Overhaul of the bookmarks and history code, enabling faster bookmarking and startup performance
Per-compartment garbage collection is now enabled, reducing work done during complex animations

A big improvement over beta 8 .
The menu button needs some work its lacking some options that the menu bar has.
Will probably displace Chrome as my backup browser.

Beta 9 is working just fine for me and does not introduce any new compatibility issues with my plugins. Mozilla is apparently getting close to the final release, although I believe an RC is coming first.

Beta 10 is still to be released followed by 2+ RCs, but the final version should be out in less than 2 months

I've only noticed one bug in day to day browsing with the last few betas, it's pretty solid. User reviews of products show/don't show up erratically on Shop Online with Argos.co.uk - your Online Catalogue for Home Shopping and the page autoscrolls to the bottom, works OK on Firefox 3.6 and all other browsers.

Thanks for the details. I'm looking forward to the final so the folks who make the plugins will restore compatibility. Fortunately the main ones I need have been working OK with the beta releases. I had to disable the compatibility check though.

No such problem here, it might be some of your addons

No such problem here, it might be some of your addons

It's the same in safe mode for me. Are you clicking on a row of gold stars with the number of reviews shown in brackets after it? It's the page this loads that is wrong, with no customer reviews showing. It worked for me yesterday all afternoon whenever I tried it, it doesn't work at all now.

The new beta run very smooth in my computer,
beta 8 is a bit disappointed for the opening speed.
