IE not saving properly in my Favorites

    I pull up a website
    I click on Favorites
I click on Add to Favorites…
In the name field, it already has the name (I don’t change the name)
In my Create in: (folder), I select the folder I want to move it in.
    Select: ADD
I go back to that folder and everything is OK.

If I change the “NAME” and go back to that folder I saved it in, it comes out like this… ex. imdb.com-title-tt1221208-
    (depending which page I’m saving)

IN ADDITION, it saves it again underneath it with “e” beside it for IE logo. If I double click on this one, nothing comes up.

How can I change my settings, so I can save a page in my favorites and not have unwanted titles, duplicates, etc…?

Please Help & Thanks in Advance,
    Scotty13

    Scotty give this a try
    In IE go to tools
    Internet options
    advanced
reset. This will remove all addons which may be the cause of the problem

    Thanks

    I reset IE
    Closed all pages and reopened
    Saved a you tube page.
    Went to favorites
Two pages saved…one - with you tube logo and this beside it…
    youtube.com-watchv=z18AxK0XYG0
Two - IE logo and the name I changed it too.
Went to step two and couldn’t fine anything to enable or disable an option regarding IE pages.

It may be a regsitry problem. If this began just a short while ago, try a system restore.

IE page, top right -- “page” an arrow down - option “Compatibility View Settings” which box should be checked?

The only settings that I am familiar with are these

Compatibility view shouldn't have any effect on the way favorites are saved. Perhaps this is a new question; if so then I'll tell you what I do: if I find a particular website functions poorly or looks bad, I click the "torn page" icon next to the address bar. That adds it to the list of sites that use Compatibility View. I only have the first box checked about "updated lists from Microsoft".

I have all three checked in IE 9.
As you can see I checked the third myself but everything comes up in compatibility mode that way.
