Can I download a new email?

I use yahoo also ,it seems to have unlimited storage for mail on the server ,ideal for sending yourself important docs pics etc,

Yes, I agree. And it's interesting that you send yourself important docs, boohbah. I do that too, and I think it's a great little 'fail safe' -- almost like an additional back up. (I also send myself certain docs when I'm traveling, so that I can have easier access to them if I need them.)
