Well look on the bright side... we always knew something about RC will happen on 28th :) but on serious note, it was planned for today, but delayed...
Do we know why it was delayed?
it was NEVER delied, but a good suggestion is NOT to listen to Russian rumors,
Wait until MICROSOFT said the word !!!

It was delayed for some reason. I'm not going to get into a debate here, but Russian rumors (especially where these originated from) are a lot more than just a shot in the dark

I just installed IE9 Beta. My question now will the RC come through Windows Update since I have Beta installed?

If you installed the public beta off of the MS website, then yes, I believe it will come via Windows Update

IE9 was delayed because of a conflict of interests, apparentely there is a bloke on a Windows Seven Forum who has taken the name that IE was going to use, so now they may have to change the name unless the bloke decides to change his name, from ie9 to something else....

In other news its been reported that the final release of Windows 7 SP1 is also delayed. Rumor has it that porting Microsoft BOB to windows 7 is taking longer than expected.
