    Proxy issue

Hope this is the right spot to ask

The file(xd_proxy.php)keeps trying to download and install itself on various web pages. I have tried all the normal methods to remove or clean.Anyone know how to kill this thing?
    TIA

A couple of us have noticed this (myself included). I entered the download location in the address bar and a blank page shows up with the word 'Facebook'....nothing else.

I don't understand why this is happening. It seems to have just started fairly recently.

Google says it has to do with a facebook connector in safari.

It only happens to me with IE8, both 32&64bit. It seems to have started after I cancelled "Instant Personalization" in Facebook. I searched all the available info I could find before posting here.

It's also happening in IE9 Beta......and I don't have a Facebook account. And it shows up while on FoxNews...lol.

I'm getting it on MSNBC and CNN. At least it's not picky about it's politics...
