It just says
Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

Got AVG 2011 Free Edition. Firewall has nothing to do with this.

That's the generic error message IE displays, what error you get in firefox? Have you tried clicking 'Diagnose connection problems' or similar in IE error message? What does it come up with?
Also, make sure there's no entry for facebook and majorgeeks in hosts file like 127.0.0.1 facebook.com .
Have you tried resetting TCP/IP?

My Firefox doesn't work, "Couldn't initialize the application's security component. The most likely cause is problems with files in you application's profile directory. Please check that this directory has no read/write restrictions and your hard disk is not full or close to full. It is recommended that you exit the application and fix the problem. If you continue to use this session, you might see incorrect application behavior when accessing security features.".


The Hosts file is fine.

I've tried this Mozilla thingy before I went here. So I'm pretty sure it's not Mozilla's Fault. Somebody gave me the idea that it might be a security problem.
