I have the same problem. No more paperclip attachment on the middle viewing bar. I have just uninstalled IE9 RC and am waiting to reboot to see if this works. There may be a need to reinstall the Vista msoe.dll file again. Hope to let you know soon. [See below]
As for Microsoft testing the release... what did you expect? If they did it would not be on Win7 with Vista WinMail installed! Especially as they left out all mail programs.
I am now pleased to advise that after uninstalling IE9 RC, and a restart, the attachment link in Windows Mail has returned.
