I would like to keep gmail as my default email but sometnings like "send a link or email" don't work, the computer always says "no default email chosen?",
can you help me? 69 year old computer whacker" bobk

Welcome to SF. I use gmail as well and mine works perfect. How did you load gmail? I like to go to Google Pack and pick and choose my options? Do you also use another email server like Yahoo/Hotmail/Outlook or Outlook Express?

Unfortunately, you cannot set the Gmail web interface as your default email program in Windows Vista Or Windows7. You can set up Gmail in an email program such as Windows Mail, though, and thus send from your Gmail address by default.
