Latest Update messes up Firefox

Since the last update came down, my browser jumps whenever I touch the mouse. I'll go to click on a link and the wrong url comes up because the browser, or mouse, jumped. This will also happen when I just touch the mouse. It mostly happens opening a new page. After 2 jumps, it settles down.

Is there a cure for this? Not a show stopper but very annoying.

Thanks,
Burt

Maybe just coincidence, but the same thing happened to me; except it didn't end with Firefox.
My mouse was double-clicking all over the place! "Annoying" wasn't a strong enough word.

I tried a different mouse and the problem went away.
It's weird that my mouse should give up the ghost at the same time I install the SP1 update, but that seems to be what happened.

I upgraded Firefox to their latest version 4 beta 12; it now seems to handle most of my add-ons.
Probably didn't have to do that, but since the mouse wasn't that old it didn't occur to me to check it right off.

Don't know if this any help to you, but you might try it?

My mouse is only a few months old -- Logitech Anywhere MX. Came as a set with a keyboard. Outside of this problem, I'm very happy with a wireless kb and mouse. I'll see if there are any new drivers.

Thanks for the input.
