Windows 7: windows live mail ERROR: 0x80048820

Removing the password does not fix this problem. I have been suffering this issue for a couple of months now and have tried everything I can think of, every suggestion no matter how strange or far fetched has even temporarily fixed the issue. This issue has been around for 3 or 4 years now and Microsoft has not even addressed it in the least. I'm beyond sick trying to resolve it. It's really a shame also, as no other application even remotely suits my needs in how I interact with my email and calendar. I am currently using their recently release 2012 version just called Windows Essentials. The program is a complete failure.

Ristogod, removing the HTTP mail server password (http://mail.services.live.com/DeltaS....0.0/sync.aspx) unfortunately may not fix the problem for you, but it does for many people. Other people suffering this issue should still try this.

http://mail.services.live.com/DeltaS....0.0/sync.aspx link seems to be broken (at least for me). Error message:
"Most likely cause:

• The website has a programming error."

So let them try. I'm not stopping them.

Create an exception for the Windows live mail, by browsing through the C >> Users>> Apps>>> Microsoft >>> Windows Live Mail >>> Outbox.
Then it got sent immediately!!!

Perhaps traveendra1 is assuming that an email is stuck in your outbox. He suggests finding it in in Windows Explorer with Mail program closed and delete it from there. (AppData/Local/Microsoft/Windows Live Mail/Outbox)
