It's crazy for sure both are 64bit here and like you not able to find a fix.
just checked and I'm not using the 64bit version
May be you can check the add-on for the browser and the settings for it,
there may be some of the components problem that cause the browser to crash.
If you would like to know which part is getting wrong to cause the crash,
you can check on your Windows Event Viewer, and check the recent crashes.
Sometimes you might find the source that cause the crash, and you might find a solution for that.
I have similar problems, I have Internet Explorer 9 RC in Windows 7 Ultimate Spanish, I have unistalled and reainstalled again, also reset all features to default values. But it hangs after few minutes, it shows messages about problems loading pages, and after that CPU reach 100%.
Is there any solution or is a normal problem most of the people is getting ... I have been trying it since firts beta ... but now I am becoming a chrome user ... it seems that IE9 RC is not ready enought.
I have uninstall IE9 in windows 7. I hope that in final version will not problem.
PS : IE8 running normally.
I think that problem can come to the drivers graphic card because IE9 used the processor of graphic card. It's possible. If it's the case, the problem could appear also with the new version of Opera, firefox etc.....
Just checked and can only find a lot of these:-
Description
