Opera 11 and WebGL

As with IE9, Opéra will offer a new version currently in développement. Opéra 11.50 don't use DirectX but OpenGL for open a web page.

And

Our implementation will feature full acceleration on any OS with sufficient hardware support. This means we can also use fully hardware accelerated draw operations on Windows XP, Linux, Mac OS X and OpenGL ES 2 capable devices such as recent smart-phones and web-enabled TVs.

I didn't want to open a new thread just to express my surprise, but...
Those who know me here also know that I have never used Opera, ever since the early v10 builds. When v11 was in development I tested beta builts and found it glitchy, buggy, slow and annoying. Flash performance was awful compared to other browsers, browsing through https pages was painfully slow etc. etc.

I wanted to remove Chrome Plus and find another browser to use alongside IE9, and even though I fully expected the same results, I downloaded Opera. And now, all of a sudden, out of nowhere, Opera is amazingly fast for me. I feel like I can finally really, REALLY enjoy Opera as much as I did while using v9.

Thank for your experience user with Opera. For me Opéra is become very interesting at the 11 version with the extention. This browser is amazing but you have reason on some webpages there is some default in display. But with IE too.

So :

1) It's less heavy than firefox
2) It's more full than Safari and IE lol
3) it's n°1 in standard respect.

And Chrome euh comment dire, I don't like their vision of respect private life in their licence nor their intrusiveness.
