    oe6 does not remember passwords


    Just purchased pc which has windows 7 pro.

    OE6 was bundled with other programs.

    OE6 is operating in the virtual xp mode & does not remember passwords

    How can I correct the problem?

    Your situation is caused by a corrupted registry key.

    In order to fix it you could follow the instructions here:
    Outlook Express keeps prompting for your password
    NOTE: Following this procedure will remove all stored passwords for your user account. Make sure you know what they are before performing this procedure!!

IE wont remember passwords?

ok how come IE won't remeber passwords it remebers my username but not password for any site?
Internet Explorer cannot remember FTP login passwords and usernames. Also some cookies are deleted by random (no automatic spyware deleting software)
