why does the IE8 hang so much ?

Hi,guys here it is IE8 is hanging like crazy and it didn't do it before ..

Only thing i can think of would be i disconnected my router because im only useing one unit right now ,won't be putting another up for some time ..

My question is would it effect the IE settings cause all my other browsers work fine every last one of them ,thus IE is the main browser i go to and most of my links are on it ,so im kinda getting upset cause every time i need to view something it directs it straight to IE for it to just go to MSN and then can't go anywhere else .

    Hi,

Go to Control Panel > Network and Internet > Internet Options

In the Advanced tab, click Restore advanced settings and Reset... and see if that helps.
       Note
All addons and toolbars you have installed will be removed and you will need to re-download them
