Changing the Download location in IE9

I am running the released RTM version of IE9, and I'm noticing that I cannot change the download location (default) in the new Download Manager. Can anyone else change this and get it to stick?

    Hi,

If you click the Tools button then View Downloads

You can then click Options which will give you a Browse button to select a new download location.

I've just checked it and it works :)

That's what I meant by it not sticking. I can change it all I want, but it won't accept the change. It goes back to Downloads after browsing. I wanted to know if it worked for others, or if everyone was having the same problem. So far, on two systems, I can't get it to stick.

Have you tried manually changing it in regedit?

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main

    Try changing it in there

Have had mine set to my Data drive since beta and it has stayed the same through RC and RTM.

    No problems.

Weird. I finally tried downloading a file and it defaulted to my preferred location on my storage drive, but in the Options for the download manager, it still says Downloads.
