    So you're British then?

It all depends on your needs. Do you want something with all the frills and extras, or just a basic Internet connection?

My ISP is O2 and I get a discount on the broadband bill because my cell phone is provided by them too. I have the premium package with them and fortunately for me, it connects faster than advertised. It's just Internet only though, but that's all I need. BT also offer standard no frills DSL packages, but I've seen a bunch of complaints about prolonged outages etc for that service.

Sky broadband offers more inclusive features but apparently has a low 40GB cap. Virgin media also offers a lot of services with its Internet, it is also more generous with bandwidth and speed.

BT do offer a new package though, BT Infinity, or something like that. It's fiber optic, so it should very fast. I haven't looked too much into it personally, nor tried it. So I can't comment on it.

If you have Sky go with them never had a cap when i was with them might be different now.
BE are very highly rated by users & do not have a cap or use bandwidth throttling.

very limited availability BT are crazy doing all that advertising when the majority won't be able to use it until next year.
