    Receiving Same E-Mail in Triplicate

Could someone help me to prevent my Windows Live Mail in which I have two e-mail accounts, receiving triplicate e-mails. In particular from Geocaching.com. I get one i one account, but two in the other, thus three in a row in my in-box! Its most infuriating as I have to delete two each time. Any assistance appreciated.

If that's the only one, or one of just a few, then you probably are on their mailing list twice. If it is every e-mail, check your server settings, and any forwarding settings.

I would recommend to just scroll to the bottom of that email and UNsubscribe from them. Can you check your mail online trough the browser are you also getting 3 duplicates? If so it may not be Windows Live Mail fault at all but your subscriptions . How is Windows Live Mail anyways, i use Mozilla Thunderbird to manage my emails.

You receive the message thrice because the sender is sending it to you thrice. Get in touch with the sender to sort out the problem at his/her end. If he/she doesn't sort it out then either block the sender or if from a commercial outfit then unsubscribe from there as already suggested.

I have no wish to unsubscribe as the information from Geocaching.com is relevant to my hobby. I can understand getting an e-mail in each of my accounts (I have two), its the triplicate that baffles me. I use Windows Live as it was part of Windows 7, I much preferred my Windows XP. I do not use any of the Windows Live except the mail. No Hotmail or anything extra. So for instance if Geocaching .com informs me that a new series of caches has been put out, seven in all, I get 21 e-mails !! So frustrating!

I use it on three computers, and it's working great. If you sign up for a free Live.com account (even if you don't use the e-mail), you can get Exchange-like syncing across multiple computers.

I don't think you read the suggestions very well. No one is suggesting you unsubscribe completely. Contact them and tell them you are getting multiple e-mails. Then choose one of your two accounts to keep, and then unsubscribe from the other. That should bring you down to one e-mail. If they have a database of 10,000 e-mail addresses, and yours is entered several times...you'll get several e-mails. That's what we're trying to explain to you.
