how to fix firefox display resolution

i was wondering how do I configure firefox to better display on a 17 inch laptop screen. As of right now since the screen on my laptop is so much bigger than what im use to useing, is there any way I can make firefox display better on my larger screen. When it comes to how small text and images are by default, instead of having to constantly zoom in and out on every webpage that I open. Or how can i make it better suit my new screen display my current screen resolution is 1920x1080. This is kind of hard for me to explain so if you need more detail please ask sorry for the terrible explanation.

with your mouse right click on a empty spot on your desktop & click on screen resolution then click on Make text & other items smaller or larger.
smaller 100% is the default options for Medium 125% & Larger 150% and on the left you can set a custom text size.
Make the text on your screen larger or smaller
