    Can't Install Java on IE9

Java will not install on my 32-bit IE9 on my desktop PC. I was able to install it on my laptop though. It does work on my 32-bit mozilla browser too, so I know it's installed on my PC. How can I get java to install on IE9? I did disable activex filtering already.

You may need to uninstall older versions of Java before installing a new version. Check as per below
    *Start button
    *Programs,
    *Control Panel,
    *Programs and Features.
    *Select Java from the list,
*Uninstall. You may need to provide Admin confirmation.
*Note- If more than one version of Java is listed, uninstall the older versions first.

    To install Java in IE9.

    *Open Internet Explorer
    *Go to the Java.com website.
*Click the Free Java Download button, and then click Agree and Start Free Download. You may be prompted for administrator confirmation.
*On the Notification bar, click Run. Provide admin confirmation if necessary.
    *Install.
    *Close.

I have tried uninstalling java already. No luck - when I reinstall it, IE 9 still crashes on java test pages.
