Firefox hangs waiting for ssl.google-analytics.com... help me

Think we could use some more information??

Which version of FF?

What kid of hang?

Any error message?

What network setup?

my version is FF 4
my internet connection is dsl 4 mb

when i trying to open google waiting for transferring data form google.com and hang up... after that i can not open any tab or page, i can close ff but after that i open ff there is a message "Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart your system."
