    This is slowest startup... Implies it is simply based on size/file count impacting loading time. This isn't the same thing as performance in use. Which is more important IMO.

    True. My Firefox 4. 0 starts in 1.42 seconds from cold, using this configuration;

    Firefox 4, extensions and memory leaks?

    and is also very very fast in operation.

    So I tend to take a lot of the stuff going around with a very large pinch of salt.

    20) No discussion of blocking ads, or ad blocking software - Websites cost money to run and blocking ads is no more than theft of service, if you dont like a sites ads then dont use the site.
