    hello there:)
Follow these steps and see if Internet Explorer (IE) opens fine:

    a. Click “Start” and click “Run” [or click “Windows+Run”]
    b. Type “iexplore” in the Start search box and hit “Enter”.

    Does this open IE?

Also check if IE opens fine from the following location:

    C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer

    Open Internet Explorer
    · Press Alt + X on your keyboard
    · Click Internet Options
    · Under Tabs, click Settings
    · choose your setting Uncheck/check the Show previews for individual tabs in the taskbar* box
    · Click OK
    · Close all Internet Explorer windows
    · Open Internet Explorer
