    Query speed of IE9

My IE9 both 32bit and 64bit has started to run at a snails pace.

Even on my new Sandy Bridge build with a ton of RAM (12GB) on board.

Anyone else having this problem as it is so annoying as it was running at close to the speed of light before!
Absolutely nothing wrong with the machine unless I have picked up a nasty even though my Kaspersky 2011 is usually preetty damn good at shutting out the rubbish.

Have you added any extensions? Try running in no extension mode.

Open IE> Tools> Internet Options> Advanced tab> Uncheck enable 3rd party browser extensions.

    Hiyya Guy

No mate doesn't work still crawling along even when I came to reply it took ages to load the reply window.

If it has any bearing the WLM is not sending mail - have been trying for three days now to send messages checked the accounts etc but it still starts up with "Sending messages 1 of 4" window. They eventually time out.

Any relation? modem knackered? ?my ISP having problems?

Are you locked in and married to IE and Windows Live Mail?

There are alternatives that work pretty well.

ISP could be at fault, but a simple phone call should be able to confirm that?

Does this happen with other browsers?

Start> In search box type cmd> In results above, right click on cmd.exe and choose Run as administrator> Type in

    ping www.sevenforums.com

    Press enter

    Post the results

    Phone call

Hmmmm phone call done and well the ISP was not really much help had to set the account again - I think I might be better off buying the M$ Outlook as WLM is going to drive me mad.

It really is a circus / zoo / jungle and it spoils having a computer and being a cynic I nreckon it is all done just to squeeze that last bit of cash out of you.

Anyway fellas thanks for trying to help.

Outlook is way way overkill if all you want it for is email.

Have you considered Thunderbird? It's free.

    Ok

Hiyya ignazatsonic am going over to Firefox and Thunderbird on the other two machine as the new build is working fine.

Not real keen on either after getting used to IE and WLM but they are going to drive me stir crazy with the antics - WLM still sending four day old messages.... it's a damn circus!!
