| | restore Favorites Dear Forum, I had my Vista computer's hard drive crash! Fortunately I have a full back up of my data. Purchases new computer with Windows 7 64 bit O/S. A couple of data transfer issues: How do I transfer my favourites from backup to the Explorer 9 favourites? How do I transfer my old e-mail messages to a new e-mail programme. Thanks, Buzz |

| | in your user folder (the one you would navigate to through C:, so C, users etc. etc.) there should be a several folders (about 10) and one of them will be favourites. If you were using IE, then just copy and paste them across. Internet Explorer - Import and Export Favorites The emails should have been stored on the server, so just logging in should download them all again. (i'm not trying to be vague on purpose, i just dont have a computer infront of me at the moment  ) |

| | good luck, always happy to help  as am now at a computer, to get to the favourites folder it should be: C > Users > *Your name* > Favourites |
