Windows 7: outlook "new email sound" problem.

hi tnx for reading.

i'm having litle problem over here:
i've installed office 2010 and and set up office outlook and my accounts.
now i wanna change a soud when new message arives.

here are my settings:
send/recive each 20 min.
options>play sound... i've choose my custom sound.waw.



message arives but no sound is played.

even when outlook is opened or minimazed to try not soud is played.

what i'm i doing wrong

Check if sound notifications are enabled:

Click on File tab and click Options in Outlook backstage window. In the options window, select the mail and scroll down to message arrival. Make sure that you have checked the box against “Play a Sound”.
