    BACK UP EMAILS RECEIVED IN WIN 7


    I have several emails in my received email file in Win 7 how do I copy them to my external drive from Win 7.
    MS help desk did not have an answer other just copy them !!

    Hello Wilfj,

    It depends on what email client program you are using. If you are using Windows Live Mail, then the tutorial below can help show you how to export (backup) your messages there.

    Gee.. thanks very much indeed. you should send this one to MS as the reply I received from their Help desk did'nt work ! I'm happy !!!

    MS probably thought you meant you meant what you said.

    Several emails - not an entire folder, there might be hundreds or thousands in a folder.

    To back up just a few selected emails, you can indeed copy them

    Open the email and click File>Save As.
