    "The connection has timed out" problem with Youtube


    I have no problems whatsoever connecting to any other website. I only cannot access youtube. I keep getting the error "The connection has timed out" on firefox 4.0.1 and "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" on IE8. I've tried accessing youtube from different connections and even from different countries but the problem remains. I have tried using hotspot shield but kept getting the error "bad port" or something like that.. Other computers on the same networks connect to youtube with no issues.

    My OS is Windows 7 (64bit)
    I have Avira Anti Vir Home Ed.
    Windows firewall is on. I have tried accessing the page with firewall shut off with no success..

    Can anyone tell me what might be the problem because this problem is starting to really get on my nerves.

    I have Avira and IE 9 ... neither are blocking me.
