Frustrated that I can't stream with Windows Media Player!
Hey al - ever since I got Internet Explorer 9, I can't seem to open up certain web pages' streaming content that I've always had internet explorer open in windows media player (in a seperate window). Instead, it always uses this Quicktime Plugin thing which, when I disable it in 'manage add-ons', prevents me from watching it those pages at all! I also notice these pages open in the Quicktime Plug-in in *other* browsers to...so now I'm just at a loss.
Everything else works fine, so I know something wonky is going on with just this issue. I'm running Windows 7 x64 on an Alienware m15x. Does anyone have any idea what I can do about this?
