How to change the page of a new tab on internet explorer?

I recently installed ICQ program. And it first changed my homepage to some stupid russian email site. So I changed it back to google. Now I found out, that when I open a new tab , it automaticly is the icq russian search thing. Now how to I change it back to the original google tab where I could swich in pirvate search and stuff like it should be.

first click on the tools menu >> internet options

if you can't see a tools menu, press the Alt key on your keyboard.

then the first section of the 'general' tab controls your home page tab - you can have several if you want.

sorry i think i misunderstood your question - if you want to change the new tab page,

tools >> internet options >> settings button in the tabs section (near the bottom of the general page)

Thanks for the replies guys but what I ment was that I whould like "tabs.png" page to open up not the ICQ search thing when I click on the new tab thing, you know like it should be.

but then we both provided you with pictures on how to do what you are looking for.

'when a new tab is opened' >> 'the new tab page'

The problem is that my "New tab page" is the russian icq search page. I tried the methods above before I even posted this thread. I want to change my new tab page back to what it should be like in my image. When I installed the ICQ it autmatically changed my "new tab page" for some stupid reason.
