I uninstalled 9 back to 8 but still I have the same problem......I tried to reset 8 but still same.....I downloaded and ran different recommended spywares programs and then took back off again..spybot picked up 'coupon bar' to take off plus another malware which the other two did not pick up (Malwarebytes and superantispyware) Can not take off 8 as it doesnt seem too allow....inorder to reinstall....so not sure what else to do now as dont fancy unticking the protection mode as it may let stuff through.....anymore options guys?
well obviously you have not got the exact same problem as I have then ..... obviously!
Looks like no one has got the answer to solve this....its got to be a problem with Microsoft because I have done and checked everything possible
* Please list ALL of the Security Programs you have had on your computer.
* Have you checked Event Viewer? (type eventvwr in search).
Go to the windows log>application & system tabs.
Look for red critical errors.
Should there be anything that relates to the problem, note the event ID, and the source codes and tell us what they are.
I have only had Malwarebytes and I am now using only from this week Spybot. Currently using avast.
I opened event program and on System tabs only found Kernel -Power event 41 as a red critical.
On the Applications tab I found no red critical but red circles with (!) inside.....Lots of application error Event 1000......Sidebyside event 63......customer experience improvement program event 1008 .....application hang event 1002...SQL Browser event 3 warning (yellow triangle).....plus lots more different ones but no critical signs.
Hopes this helps
Keep your event viewer critical message under observation.
I would suggest you dispense with Spybot.
IMHO you would be far better off with SuperAntiSpyware or Malwarebytes.
If your IE problem persists it may be time to contact the "experts" -

Ok...well I have just posted another thread to do with drivers......maybe that is causing it to have the problem? I will just have to wait and see when I get a reply from one of the experts in this field :) If that does not sort it out then I will try a solution I have just read on Microsoft but it does say to see if all drivers are updated first as this may sort it out if not then give that one ago......Maybe one day I will solve this annoying mystery :)
There had to be other implications.
I will watch this develop with interest.
Good luck.
Hope all is corrected soon.
