Internet Explorer has stopped working message

    Well I did the clean boot and out of all the items listed after hiding Microsoft ones I was left with "Trusteer Rapport" which I installed at some point (around two months ago).......So I stopped it running and heypresto.....so far so good.....so its looking like that is the culprit......

    I have been on their website and there is complaints about it affecting things on peoples computers...so I have sent them a report as they request so that they can help to stop this from happening....hopefully they will be able to come back to me with a solution that they may find and then I can restart it fully once again.....I will only start it up when using sites I want extra security on...then disable it until next needed.....

    I will keep you posted ....I shall run without it for a few days and then I will post back on here to say whether the message popup came back with it disabled...fingers crossed

    Hi,

    a similar problem is happening on my internet explorer 9 too, but only when i'm trying to send an email through outlook web access.

    The event log can be found attached.
    Please advice.

    well guys so far so good....no more annoying popup as yet ....just hope Rapport come up with a solution.....well just my restore problem left to solve now :)

    Thanks!! I disabled addins and it solved my problem with "I.E. has stopped working". This forum has solved 3 of my problems now! This is a wonderful tool. Thanks, again....
