    Application download did not succeed

Application download did not succeed. Check your network connection, or contact your system administrator or network service provider. That what a family member of mine gets when they try to download anything off of the internet. Its old probably running windows xp or older. Anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it, hits on Google dont explain, only for this one click thing

I know this is windows 7 forum but maybe it pertains to us also

Could you please give more information on the issue: operation system of that computer, browser, may be some error codes? What type of content is being downloaded, what website?

    Screenshots actually would work too.

I understand. But, still more info is required:
    How all this started?
Is that a home computer or office?
Was it always like that or let's say installation of some other software triggered that?
Please also check if user has Administrative rights using this tutorial.

Also, just a suggestion: have your relative tried any alternative browsers like Firefox, Chrome, Opera?

    hello,

I'm having the same problem, at first google chrome stoped working and a suggested solution was to check my firewall and add google chrom to allow list and I did but it didn't work anyway, so I deleted the google crhome and tried to reinstall it but i got this message "application download did not succed" and:
