Windows 7: WLM

HI,Not long since I gone to Windows 7,I had xp pro before using Outlook express as email
Now gone to WLM I imported my emails from OE6 and I think there is something not right,I have 2 emails one with BT and the other with hotmail.On the left pane I have BT on top as default.
inbox
sent
junk
deleted
Hotmail account
Storage folders
draft
sent items
deleted
Imported Folder
My email folders [BT]
My BT account name
My folders 01--20 etc.Imported from OE6.



Does that setup sound correct? Or is it all wrong?.

I'm afraid I don't understand. Perhaps an actual screen shot would help. Also let us know how each account was setup in WLM (pop3, imap, or http).

Yes, that's what you should see.
Under Imported folder, it has the past e-mails from BT and Hotmail.
Just go back to BT and Hotmail Inboxes, make duplicate folders as those in Imported Folder, and then move them to their corresponding folders.

Example....
Go to BT Inbox > right click > click New Folder > enter the name ( say Mary ) > OK
Now you have a folder named Mary. That folder will be used to hold all emails sent from her and replies sent to her.
Go to Imported Folder > BT folder > move all Mary's emails over to the newly created Mary folder.... and so on.

Yes, I'd say so.

When you open those folders under Imp[orted Folder, yousee all your past e-mails. Right ?
If yes, then you can start " moving " those emails as I had mentioned earlier.

Yes, they are not going away until you dlete the Imported folder.
You don't have to keep them if they are not essential.
