    Your profile says you are using Vista. Yet, you posted in Windows 7.

    Are you using Windows Mail in Vista or other e-mail client in Windows 7 such as Windows Live Mail ?

    If you are using Windows Mail, have a look at this tutorial...
    Messages may be stuck in the Outbox when you use Windows Mail on a computer that is running Windows Vista

    Normally, if you open the Outbox, right click at the " stuck " mail > click Delete. The mail will be deleted.
    Does it not working for you ?

    P.S. Vista is an operating system. Windows Mail is an e-mail client ( e-mail proram ).
    You were asked which e-mail program you are using.

when i send a email through outlook 2007 it sends it to the outbox,then i have to open up outlook and send it?why can't it send it straight away?..strange?..
