Opera finally gets Google Instant support

Google Instant search launched on 8th September 2010 & Google promised Opera will be supported shortly after launch.
Shortly is kinda vague it turns out that it means 10 months if you work at Google

Thanks to Opera having the ability to edit any pages preferences you could select the network tab & change the browser identification to mask as Firefox & the instant search worked in Opera as well.

You can ignore Google Instant requires Chrome v5/6, Firefox v3, Safari v5 for Mac or Internet Explorer v8.

They will probably shortly add Opera to the list of supported browsers

If I may, I'd like to take this opportunity to ask if there is a way to bring the "old" speed dial back to the latest Opera? The new feature of resizing pages and displaying favicons instead of actual pages makes my speed dial awfully ugly!

Personally I much prefer the new speed dial but some sites do look ugly with it all you have to do is right click the dial & change reload never to every ( use one of the options or set a custom time) then reload the dial.

And that's it, I get the dials in "old-style"?
