Windows 7: IE9 how do I add Google Search Provider

03 Nov 2011   #11

Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

why is this so God Damn hard?
because Microsoft want's every one to use their own Bing search engine.
On the UK Internet Explorer Gallery Add-ons site you get 37 large thumbnails of suggested search providers but only 2 of them are potentially useful ( Ask & Yahoo) the trick is ignore the crap & go straight to the search box & search google

If you want to search for most other search engines you will probably be disappointed searching for alltheweb ,altavista & duckduckgo you get no result.

In Opera all i have to do to add a search provider is right click the search field on any page & select create Search.
