Email notification logon screen

Is it possible to have an email notification on the logon screen?

My wife & I share a PC so we have 2 logon icons on the opening screen - for he & me.

Under XP you'd get a notification that email was waiting. I'm not bothered, but my wife would like that so she can just glance at the logon screen without logging on to see if there is email for her.

You could add her email account to the accounts in your version of WLM, except use IMAP for it instead of POP3. That way you can view her inbox on the server without actually downloading it to your mail program or deleting it from the server.
