Windows 7: Compatibility Mode

Compatibility Mode

When I go to IE9, and in Favorites I select Weather for Las Vegas, and select the weather radar, and click "loop", the radar loop does not run. I recall in Vista, I had to run the program in the compatibilty mode. In using troubleshooter from the control panel, I don't know what to tell the troubleshooter to run in the compatible mode. I tried Java, which is what runs the radar motion, but that did not do the trick. What do I need to do????

Can't solve your problem unfortunately, but if you'd consider another weather gadget, there are some good ones mentioned in the Gadgets section of the Customization threads, e.g.
Weather Gadget with Multiple Location Display

Hello jimn5dc and welcome to Seven Forums.

If this is a separate program you downloaded you should be able to run it in compatibility mode by using one of these options:

I finally remembered that on the url site in the addressbar there is a box, that can be clicked that will run the web site in the compatibility mode. Thanks for the reply
