    My internet wont open...


    Hi guys,
    As of yesterday my internet explorer will not open, I have windows 7 64bit, when you highlight over the internet its open and running but isn't on my screen when i click maximise and minimise i can see the screen, but its almost like its opening on a screen on the right even though im only using one monitor, I can see the internet page is open but can get it on my screen.
    Very complicated, if you can understand my jiberish please reply

    A screenshot of your issue would be helpful. Sounds like a resolution issue perhaps. Give us a screenshot so we can be sure.

    Hello Joshallen, and welcome to Seven Forums.

    It sounds like it may be offscreen. You might see if using the tutorial below to drag it back to your desktop may be able to help.

    Offscreen Window - Move Back to Desktop

    Hi again guys,
    First of all thanks for the replies, I've recently installed a programme called steam, when ever I open this with other programmes they will open out of my screen, I have to blindly click and drag until i have the programme until its back on the screen. It's not just the internet though its any programme.

    Josh,

    Normally windows will open on the same display screen that they were last closed on. Do you have multiple monitors?

    Either way, you should be able to use the method in the tutorial above to easily bring any offscreen window back to your desktop.

    Hi brink,
    I'll try your guide out tomorrow, once again thank you very much. and no I dont use multiple monitors which is why it is strange, but i shall try your guide out tomorrow and get back with whether it works or not.
