    Closed Captioning

Anyone got any ideas about software or what so I can run closed captioning when sites like Netflix, my favorite local news station, Hulu, Youtube, etc don't have it - and can run with IE 9?

I know Media Player has it - but it doesn't seem to offer everything, and all that other blah, blah, blah!

    Thanx! - charles

I don't think it's a software decoding issue, but rather the services aren't providing the CC or subtitles. It isn't like TV where the CC info is there and just has to be decoded. It is different in streaming video, and the services would have to provide their own subtitles. Some Hulu and Youtube already has CC choices. I see where Netflix was recently sued about CC.

I did find some links for enabling CC for Netflix and Hulu when it is available.
