Please help - trying to get Windows Calendar to run in Windows Mail.

I got Windows Mail to run on Windows 7 but I'm having trouble installing Windows Calendar. I seen a tutorial post about how to do it but I wasn't able to create a 'Reminder.xml' file - it said to do it on Vista, I only have Windows 7.

So can anyone offer assistance on how I can get the calendar to work while in Windows Mail? Thanks.

It says "In Vista open: Control Panel --> Administrative Tools --> Task Scheduler...." to create an .xml file. I am not running Vista so I can't do this.

    Any other suggestions?

This worked for me for awhile:

Download Windows Calendar For Windows 7

But I kept getting corrupt xml file. It wouldn't work with the scheduler after a certain number of months.

If you can't get it to work offline you might try Sunbird or one of the other free calendars.
