Windows Live Mail Address Book (Contacts)

Where in Windows 7 are these?

My program is not opening so I need to find and backup all the data (esp the address book) before I format the drive .

Anyone got an idea as to where they are located?

thanks

1. Need to " un-hide " operating system files " and also " show hidden files "......

Start > search box, type folder options > Enter > View tab at top > ....
put a blue radio dot at " Show hidden files, folders and drives ", and
un-check " Hide protected operaring system files " > OK

2. Here is where you will find WLM contacts
C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Contacts\{ a string of letters and numbers }\DBStore
Inside the DBStore there is the Contacts.edb. \that's where you contacts are.

One problem I have : I can't open the contacts.edb. I used Adobe Reader, Internet Explorer, Notepad, Wordpad.... none are able to open it.

3. For WLM messages
C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail

I got that. No I can't open it either (except ,unsatisfactorily with FreeFile Opener) .I might have to take it on trust that the data is in there correct.
