Windows 7 - Disk Space to Use

I'm using IE 9 and I am trying to set my "disk space to use" to 50. Every time I close the browser and re-open it it reverts back to 250.

Can someone help? I can't find any answers online.

Hello Rose, welcome to SF!

I hope I don't offend you by asking this.. are you sure that you did ONLY this (and in this sequence):
Change to 50, press OK button in same screen, restart IE? That should work (and does here

)

What could maybe be a problem is your UAC settings. If this is what you did and it was not accepted... try the same with a elevated permissions as admin?

I'm not offended. I've done that, multiple times. I've been trying to figure it out for a week now. I guess I will have to live with it.

Clear the temp cache files with CCleaner 1st, then try maybe?

Thank you, that worked. The Fixit button kept giving me an error but I followed the fix it myself directions and it worked.
