    Fluff out your System Specs by using the following procedure:

    UPDATE YOUR SEVENFORUMS SYSTEM SPECS

    User CP (3rd item in the top menu bar) |
    in left-hand column, under Your Profile, Edit System Spec |

    Use Speccy - System Information - Free Download
    and/or SIW to gather info for filling in the blanks.

    Do me a favor. Please add the word laptop or desktop to the “system manufacturer” block.

    Provide full windows version info, such as provided by Speccy:
    MS Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1

    Use the “Other Info” block for Optical Reader, Mouse, touchpad, wifi adapter, speakers, monitor

    Scroll down and click on the SAVE CHANGES button.

    Well, if this is a computer related issue... As Karlsnooks said remove Norton, but with the Norton Removal Tool, Download and run the Norton Removal Tool to uninstall your Norton product | Norton Support

    Then go ahead and install MSE 2.1 Virus, Spyware & Malware Protection | Microsoft Security Essentials

    If you've already run a full MBAM scan, then there is no need to do so again.

    Clear your startup list of unneeded programs as karlsnooks said. Also, open CCleaner, go to the Tools section, then Uninstall tab, and select at the bottom right corner of the app, Save to Text File. Upload that text file so that I may review all unneeded programs installed into your computer.

    I know that, you asked for the startup.txt, which lists all programs that start when the computer is turned on. I asked for the install.txt file, which lists all installed programs on the computer. :)

    I never used IE. I hear it's full of holes. At the risk of sounding like a Chrome fanatic, why don't you try using chrome?
    Sorry, all; I totally missed the posts after the first page. To contribute: Sometimes I just tried this trick and it worked, but I don't actually understand what it's about.
    WinKey+R->"%temp%"(without quotes)->Select all files in that folder->Delete

    Again, my apologies for the digression.
