    Google doesn't keep settings!

    Hi,

I am trying to change the Google search settings but they are never kept!
After restart, the default settings come back!
When I choose for example new search language or "Search Safe filtering (rather than moderate) or "Do not use Google Instant", these are not kept!
After restart the browser, the new settings turn to the defaults values, as shown in the screenshot below!

    This is really annoying!
Any suggestion or solution to keep the customized settings in Google?

    Thank you

Correct me if I am wrong but I think it has to set a cookie to remember those...Are your cookies turned off?

I apologize if this seems too simplistic, but you ARE saving your preferences at the top or bottom of the screen, aren't you?

    Here's some additional help:

Search preferences aren't sticking - from Google

Web search preferences will not save. - Web Search Help - Google

Also, do a search on Google for this problem. There are a TON of helpful responses.

Oh, I was hurried to mark "Solved"! It is not solved actually!
It seems to be not a cookie issue as I have set accept cookies and after restart I checked and found the default settings again!
    Horrible google!

@Imperfect, I tried to save the settings by the top and bottom but no difference observed.

Sorry sevener, but try Googling the issue. There's a lot of help out there for you, but it will take some time and effort on your part to find it!
