    Yes they are the same for now. When FF7 is moved from alpha to beta stage it will be called Firefox Beta just the way 6 is right now.

    Yes, Aurora is currently at version 7 (7.0a2) as said above. Aurora is just the name they use for their Firefox Alpha builds.
