Background: Black text on web sites and email was showing up as green on printer when printed from Windows 7/64. Same sites and same email message printing to same printer would print black text very fast as black using Vista laptop.
It appears the Windows 7 version of Windows Mail is forcing all printed output to use photo mode and that seems to be confirmed by replacing the low/empty photo black cartridge and now black text in the mail message or web site now prints as black but... VERY SLOW. Sure looks like IE and Windows Mail are choosing to print every page as a full page photo.
Again on same Windows 7 machine same test web site but using Chrome prints fast and respects the
driver setting.
Copy of entire body of email message and pasted into Word 2010 or Notepad also respects driver settings.
