Microsoft Updates Core System Fonts To Fix Blurred Fonts Issues

Quote:
Internet Explorer and Firefox users have criticized the font rendering under recent versions of Windows in the past. Some Firefox users for instance began to notice a difference after the Firefox 4 installation or upgrade. Internet Explorer users after the Internet Explorer 9 installation. Add-ons, extensions and tweaks were discovered that resolved the issues on most systems. Firefox users could for instance install the Anti-Aliasing Tuner to improve the font rendering in their browser, Internet Explorer users a dll wrapper.

Odd I was never offered it, as I have taken all offered. I only posted this after I tried it, and it searched my system, and didn't find it installed. Perhaps some others didn't get it? A Guy

OK, sorry, I thought it was just an extra update like you see sometimes. It searched my system for updates, then asked me if I wanted to continue, then went through the install and required a restart. Looks like I have it twice now, lol

No need to be sorry. Its good to post things like that as some may have missed it especially since it was "recommended" and not read the information as what it was for.
