Windows mail won't merge to windows live mail

I have a bellsouth.net email (part of att) account. Had been thru vista 32 bit windows mail. When I went to windows live mail and win 7 home premium, the mail program works but it won't merge previous emails from win mail even tho same email account. And if both computers are on, all mail goes to win mail and not win live mail. How can I combine these 2? Thanks

Hello Jeff, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You could go to your email account settings for bellsouth.net in WM and WLM on both computers, and set the "advanced" setting to Leave a copy of messages on the server like below to be able to have all messages from the email account available to display on whatever computer you read them from.

Hope this helps,
